Kanji Tattoos

Kanji characters are very common tattoos amongst both men and women. They an be simple kanji simples or they can be adorned with various shapes and designs.

Many people choose kanji symbols that depict sayings such as:

  • Spirit
  • Love
  • Faith
  • Trust
  • Honesty
  • Believe
  • Loyalty

Other people choose to have their names tattooed in kanji.

Before getting a kanji tattoo, iot's advised to go to a fluent translator and writter of the language to make sure that your tattoo really does say what it's supposed to say. You'd hate to get a tattoo thinking it says "Love" but instead says "Butt." In many cases, you an go to a local college and find a Japanese or Chinese teacher to write the phrase, word, or name in the languae script that you would like.

Nice info I myself have found that Kanji is a beautyful art form but research is always needed before geting it tattooed. Definatly do your homework I have seen some awesome pieces that had another meaning than what the Tattoo artist had told the client.. So do your reasearch.. Once again great Hub.. Thanks
